heres my story:
today a big chapter of my life had finally ended - that which has been a part of me for 13 years: school. after 13 years ive reached the end of the road, the end of the long journey; the end of something which ive grown so used to and loved. and ill miss it. in fact, i shed many tears in our farewell ceremony which had a powerpoint with all these pictures showing how weve grown up in high school. there was also a video of our last week with some nice soft music playing.
it's all come so quick tho. which upsets me. will the rest of my life fly like this year has? will it be plagued with regrets of "i should have done this or that"? this is whats going through my head atm. anyway, im pretty sad atm for a couple of reasons;
1. the fact that high school is over, and ill be saying goodbye to many people. ill be saying goodbye to the atmosphere, the whole school life, and entering something much different - university. i nkow ill get over it after a while, but this is quite upsetting for me.
2. right now, all the legal age drinkers (90% of the grade) are at the local pub celebrating, while im stuck here on 2pacboard. i had the chance to get in there illegaly, but my lack of guts prevented me from doing so. it's too late to go now anyway. instead, i was somewhere else - not with my good mates, and i was pretty bored. not the way i wanted to leave high school.
anyway, thats one aspect. the next is that in 3 weeks the exams that will determine aspects of my future begin. the HSC - the Higher School Certificate. im nervous, and stressed because the time will fly and soon ill be thinking "where has the time gone?" and plus, it's really hard to focus when youre mind is still upset.
so i guess that's my rant for today. this is what's going on in my life atm, and i hope that through this thread we learn about each other to gain a deeper understanding. plus, it's interesting to see whats going on in other peoples lives - hence the whole popularity of soap operas
well im off to bed, partially depressed, and very regretful.
