^^ No. My mother always did it when I was younger, or my girls do it now. I vacuumed up little messes here and there but never the whole house before, all three levels. Its a big fucking job.

I have a question, do those handheld vacuums work? Now that I know how tough this is Id like to get a hand held vacuum for my girl to use or use myself when there is a small mess that needs cleaning and dont need to lug up the big vacuum from downstairs.

Are they powerful enough to clean, lets say, bird seed? Or are they just bullshit gimmick dust buster things?

Yes some of them are powerful enough. Bird seeds should be fine but don't expect them to perform just like a regular vacuum.

those handheld vacuums are great for the CAR they pick up most things, its quite strong, the only disadvantage its gets full very quick, i reckon you should get one. but not the cheapest one just incase, always get the middle range price.

As for the hand held vacuum, very few work well. the filters need to be replaced ALOT! i say its more of a bitch to get one of them.

there are however, some vacuums that are detachable from the body and it becomes handheld. i heard those work pretty well. so if you need a new vacuum, kill two birds with 1 stone.

if not get the hand held one the oxy clean guy advertises. lol
