I really, really, really want to learn how to snowboard first and then how to ski. I've been once to this indoor place and it was so much fun!

Does anyone here snowboard or ski?

What are some good locations? What's your favorite?

Any pics to share?

I don't like both. I can ski tho.
Here people do that every winter tho it's not that "cool" anymore. More people Snowboard, I tried too but I nearly killed myself at the start :D
It's just not good for me.

Well, i've not done anything because it was "cool" since about 2001 my sophomore year of HS.

How did you nearly kill yourself if you don't mind my asking?

I think I was too confident and when I tried snowboarding for the first time, I started at the top of a big slope, I gained too much speed and totally lost control.
Just before that slope ended I somehow managed to fall but still I had some bad bruises after that.

I think people snowboard here mainly because of their wannabe-"coolness" factor. Most others just skii

I snowboard a lot. It takes about 3 hours to get to the ski areas from where I am so it isn't that bad, some places are a lot further though. My favorite places are either Keystone or Winter Park. They just built this mini slope pretty much in the city and we go fuck around there a lot too.
