if this is the same person, there was a thread about this in WOW some months back. it had a little more detail i think. if i remember the girl was given alcohol, drugs, and the whole thing was video taped. i think i remember something about sodomy too.

it sucks to be this guy and his sentence is fucked up but i have no sympathy for him. he knew the girl was incrediably drunk and high. he knew how old she was. the intention of the boys that night seemed to be to get her fucked up so they could take advantage of her. no signature from me

Actually, he and his friends checked into a hotel and it was understood by them that a group of girls were going to bring over alcohol and marijuana which they did. The one girl was giving oral sex to multiple people and then Wilson. According to the tape, witnesses, and the foreman of the jury, she was a willing participant. She more or less invited him...bending over and putting her hands on the bed. He proceeded to have sex with her from behind. I hardly call that taking advantage of the girl, and especially since he was drunk himself.

Regardless of all that, your comment "he knew how old she was" is almost vulgar. He was 17, she was 15. Don't tell me you think that law is absurd. I am sure more than 80% of people on this board have been 17 and had sex with 15 year olds. Look at it like this, he could have been 16 and still been charged with this crime. And are you going to tell me that's not absurd? Bull. At some point you have to stand up for the injustice of others. This is that time. This law is designed for predators and to keep them away from kids.

The sad thing is that no one believes he should be in jail in that county, the DA, the judge, the jury members...no one, not even the staff of the prison! They simply followed the law of the court and now no one's willing to spend time or money to reverse this injustice. And if you've seen this girl on Oprah, you'll notice from her demeanor that she's quite the liar and wanted him locked up.

This is an injustice. Laws are sometimes wrong. People stand up and change that. How do you not see this wrong? And if you don't believe what I've said go do some research.
 
maybe if you werent drunk from the night before and could read what i said i think the law is fucked up.

regardless he is guilty of breaking the law as it was written at that time.
 
Honestly, the law is absurd, yes. Nonetheless, at this point he and everyone in here knows what can happen if you have sex with a minor person (especially in america). Everyone knows the law. Plus, everyone heard these kind of stories before about (drunk) girls or women accusing someone raping them or whatever. Its up to you taking the risk or not.
 
the law is designed for real predators/sickos...bottom line. he wasn't charged with rape. he was charged with child molestation. that girl is his peer. that is the point of this petition. again, the law is for true predators and this is petty. in this case, every kid would be in jail by 18
 
11 years is fucked up for such as petty crime. I know this in the USA, but in the UK, a 40 year old man that has full sexual intercourse with a 3 year old and only gets put inside for 3 years! shouldn't this shit be the other way round at least?
 
thats fucked up....i signed it... 10 years is way too much, considering he was still a minor when he did it.....

The kid was a minor also at the time. This little slut knew what see was doing. She was willing. The other kids are already out of jail and started college but he gets ten years for getting the chewing? That's just not right. Even the girl doesnt think he should be in jail. They even changed the law after he got in but it said that he couldnt be tried under the new law. The kid made a mistake like we all do, he doesnt deserve to give his life for it.
