I know the 4th is 5 days away. i was just wondering do you guys get into the spirit an buy Fireworks, if you do what is your favorite thing to shoot off?

Do you just go an watch somebody else shoot them off. (ex like going downtown an watching the city you live in shoot them off, or a friend or familys house)

Or do you think of the 4th as just another day. You dont even get into shooting off any fireworks. does anybody have to work on the 4th? (after tonight im off for the next 5 days  )

My favorite things to shoot off are Roman Candles, and those airplanes that fly so high then explode in the air.

Anybody live in a city where you cant purchase fireworks?

Well, if you are refering to the American celebrations, I live in Canada, but I usually buy fire crackers on Halloween. Bottle rockets, mighty mights, roman candles, and other good ones with alot of colors, etc..

I'm going to the lake in my neighborhood and watch the firework show. It's this saturday tho, not the 4th.

i heard some fireworks shooting off nearby at 1am the other night

fireworks are pointless in my opinion, i mean yeah they kinda look cool but is it worth the hassle of getting ahold of them and risking injury setting them off? i think not

You don't know fun if you don't set off some fireworks at least once in your life.

Where I'm from (Mexico) fireworks or BOMBS because that's what the fuck they sell over there are crazy fun. They created bang and not pretty lights. Yes you have to be careful, but the rush you get is safer than shooting a gun or something more dangerous. I remember as a kid setting fire to this huge things with the shortest fuse and running like hell... Ah those were good times.

if i can find em definitely set off a few M40s

supposedly fireworks (non-sparklers essentially) or anything that explodes is illegal, to purchase, in the city. but just drive 20 minutes out and you can purchase anything

ill probably pack a few fireworks of my own later on in the night

I've never sot off my own fireworks on the 4th. Gone downtown a couple times, but it's really just another day to me. I don't really sit around and reminisce about my grade school history classes.

Roman Candles, cherry bombs, stink bombs (not a firework but still) and black cats. Our 4th of July is Canada Day.

I ussually start drinking rather early, and find my drunkest friend and convince him to shoot bottle rockets out of his hand...happens to someone every year
