They're fast. A day after my birthday, their registration form is in my mail box. Now, do I really need to register? It does clearly say that failure to register is a felony and may result in up to 250k in fines, and up to 5 years imprisonment. But, you know, it could be a scare.

I forgot to fill out the card when I turned 18 and a few weeks later they just sent me another.

How about if you forget for like....a year, or three, five.... I'm not scared of a draft happening, because chances are slim to none. I just can't get out of this so-so rebellious anti-american state of mind that spawned due to certain events in my life.

It takes like a minute. I filled it out and then it showed an error saying how they don't have my social security number in their system. They want me to print this form and request it, bla bla. Fuck that. I'll do it eventually, though.

well if ya dont send it out you can be denied financial aid, grants, ect

plus, if you don't sign up, you can't get federal finiancial aid for college
