Film & TV Season 6 of The Sopranos starts March 12!!!

Get ready Soprano fans, the 6th and final season is almost upon us. What do you think is gonna happen? How do you think they are gonna end it? Originally David Chase, the creator of the show, wrote the final season as 10 episodes, but HBO wanted 13 so they added some stuff and lengthened the storyline to expand for 3 more episodes. So? I know we gotta have some fans in the house!

I can't wait. I have them all on DVD. They are having the final season and then eight bonus episodes. That was the lastest news I read last week.

thats nice! i wonder what the bonus episodes are gonna be about? Maybe to tie up the loose ends of other characters that aren't dealt with in the main episodes

I heard they were making Season 6 12 episodes long. Then they were releasing Season 7 in January 2007. 8 more episodes.

There isn't really much to say... I've been watching Sopranos since day 1. And I have them all on DVD.

I wasn't an instant fan. I had to watch a few episodes. But once you get into the characters; it's classic.
I love the way you think nothing happens for 11 episodes then it all kicks off in the second from last 1. Then you realise it's been building up all along but you just didn't notice. Sweet.

lol, yeah i agree with that. When i first saw it, i thought it was kinda just a knockoff of Analyze this, but without the comedy. But after a while it just sucks you in. Season 2 was the best so far imo, David Proval was brilliant as Richie, and i loved the way they wrapped up that storyline, you would have never expected that. I just hope the final season will live up to the rest of them.

So just to spark up the thread a bit (if anyone even sees it lol) what do you think is the best episode? Even tho i loved season 2, the Pine Barrens episode has to be my favorite. Watching Paulie and Chris bicker like little kids makes me laugh every time i watch this episode lol. Anyone have any theories about what happened to the russian? is he dead? still alive? What happened to their car? lol i love this episode

Ya my favourite is the Pine Barrens, gangsters stuck in a forest and end up eating packets of ketchup/mustard/relish in a car is hilarious.

Another one of my favorites is the Funhouse episode where they whack Pussy in the season finale of season 2. Man Tony has some fucked up dreams lol
