DMX fights DNA; RZA OK with TLC

If rappers DMX and RZA ever form a group, they have to call it DNA - genetic codes were much on the minds of both hip-hoppers last week in paternity cases.

Never mind that a DNA test showed a 99.99% likelihood that DMX (aka Earl Simmons) is the father of Davita Oden's 3-year-old daughter, Jada, of Buffalo.

Simmons' lawyer, Noemi Fernandez Hiltz, asked a judge in Erie County Family Court for another test.

Oden's lawyer, Suzanne Kimberly Bracker, asked the judge to issue a warrant for DMX's arrest, since he failed to appear in court.

The judge denied both motions, giving the "Exit Wounds" actor one more chance to show up for a hearing next month. DMX, whose wife, Tashera, just gave birth, has another paternity case pending in Maryland.

Former Wu-Tang Clanner RZA (aka Prince Rakeem, aka Robert Diggs) did show up in Family Court here. And he didn't need any DNA results to acknowledge that he's the father of Jamie Summers' 4-year-old daughter, Rahindia.

RZA's rep gave us the runaround in February, saying he had never even heard of Summers. But Bracker, who also reps Summers, says RZA couldn't deny his resemblance to Rahindia or resist her when she jumped into his arms.

According to Bracker, RZA has been asked to support six children by different mothers. The cousin of late rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard, who left 13 children, said his income last year was between $125,000 and $150,000.
