the editing of posts to only reflect one person's true opinions on a matter, and the forging of posts that could work in the favor of the jackers is to me not only a serious violation of the forum guidelines and the moderator guidelines. it also a violation of the freedom that should be reserved as a right to every human being, and at the very least, every contestant. the mere editing of a post from a user to make it say something that is obviously not true, added with the fact that it says the post was edited by another user, is one thing. this is funny. but in light of the competition, it could potentially affect the outcome, which in my opinion makes it highly unfair.

my thread had a message and a manifold, righteous purpose of which it was forcefully deprived, and not rightfully.

as a participant of the competition, i feel my judgment is clouded on this matter and i can not personally take action. although i would probably, if i were an administrator, de-mod scruffy for his violation of the moderator guidelines, serve him a warning as a forum user, and somehow subtract points from the jacker's total score for violating universal, basic competition ethics.. but that's just me.

Well then use the little button that rukas put into the forums like preach did.

Eric should not be doing this, no one should be, deletes should be the only thing happening to someones posts, and thats if it breaks guidlines to stop beef from occuring.

Eric should also not be editing peoples sigs, only admins have this right, because we do it for fun and eventually put it back eric is doing it to bolster traz.

Theres a right way to win these matches and a wrong way and using board powers given to do a real job is not the right way.

I did not see these walks thread by traz but they get a pass for the simple reason im biased asshole, plus skipp is my lover.

But on the real do not edit posts and i will talk to eric when i see him on about editing peoples shit as well.

Bottom line is, mods are NOT allowed to edit others posts unless it has a link that will harm the other viewers computer and/or is pornographic.

And after everything SicC said, I don't think its open for dicussion. All parties stop editing shit, if its offensive, delete it (and report if needed), but that is all.

lol. i have never been away from the board for this long at once. firstly i should say i was partly joking with this thread and it was somewhat in spirit of the competition that i made it. that said, i want to explain something.

in my thread i made i said "your forum sucks and it has no activity, shouldn't you start doing something?" because i hadn't really had much contact with Eric for days, there were little threads in the Crews forums and nobody was really talking about it for a few days. I thought the idea was to spark some shit and get some activity out of this thing, so I merely wanted to. well you know. i'm not gonna say i didn't go about it as an asshole, but i did actually have partially good-hearted intentions with that thread.

the only reason i make a big deal out of this shit is because i think scruffy and the jackers are going about this thing the wrong way. there is too much negativity and it's not good. seriously. if i get "exposed" for something and it's all good fun, i'm not gonna take it to heart at all. all my life i have thought of myself as un-handsome, un-charming, hippie-ishly friendly, but at the same time i know i'm an over-confident asshole. this is what i have truly believed about myself for several years, and only recently have i started moving in a more positive direction in my life. my point with all this whining and shining is that i can handle some harsh jokes. but if my integrity or persona is attacked and made questionable during this competition, and i start to receive shit from members because the jackers won, i may probably start coming here less, and start going to mrmak a little more. i'm not saying this as a threat, i am only speaking what is real. scruffy you guys could tone down the negativity a little and still win this thing. it doesn't have to be about petty disses. it's about which group does the most good for the forum really.

i'm gonna go ahead and open up this thread again SiGh. instead of PMing you i'll just explain it here. with what i've said i think there is a few things that may be discussed. if you feel otherwise go ahead and close it again though.
