I'm running a Dell Latitude D410 laptop, Pentium M.

Here is the breakdown: I was installing Windows XP pro and during the installation, due to my carelesness, the computer shuts off because it was not connected to UC power. I connected it and continued the installation. After the installation, the blue Windows screen shows and it says "Microsoft Windows XP" and then underneath it "Applying computer settings..." After 2-3 minutes, a blue screen appears indicating some error. For technical information, it mentions 1zx32.sys. I was able to run the computer in safe mode then, but when I did, my D drive wouldn't appear. I'm pretty helpless at the moment. :(

Any help is appreciated, streethoppers.

How do I do that?

Do you know how to get it to boot from disc? it should do it automaticly, if not you have to hit del on power up and change the boot drive to the disc drive (cd dvd), save restart and hopefully it should boot from disc and repair.
