Prescription Drugs

Just wondered how easy it was in your country to get drugs that most countries require a prescription for. In the UK it's difficult to get the drugs even on the black market. But in places like India you can usually buy them over the counter.

When I was in Vietnam I tried to buy Valium and Xanax over the counter. But unfortunately they were strict there too, which was unexpected.

Just curious as to where I should holiday next...

I know this is the internet and nothing is serious, but I have some experience with prescription drugs. I’ve never abused them myself, but I’ve seen what they can do to a person.

Being a bystander as a person you love slips into dependence is a claustrophobic, doomy feeling. Someone I knew as smart and kind became nasty and literally unable to form sentences. The whole thing was devastating.

I’m 100% sober and have been for a while. I’m not some big advocate of A.A. or N.A., either. I’m not proselytizing. People can do what they want. I share Flipmo’s suspicion of teetotalers. There’s something Stepford Wives-y about purely sober people; drugs in general don’t really bother me. The wrong drugs bother me a whole hell of a lot. I have no experience with cocaine or heroin, so I can’t speak to the real human damages those drugs cause. Also, while the street drugs I mentioned carry a sick aura of gutter romance, prescription drugs (in my experience) tend to seem higher-minded and sexy. People don’t think they’re degrading themselves when they take Vicodin or Demerol.

Rightly or wrongly, I tend to think of prescription drugs as the most dangerous kind.

I admit I have tried all "street drugs". And have never really been attracted by them.

Prescription drugs to me, are the best. I am not the type to get addicted or over use. THe last time I used valium was Feb 2010 ( I know the date... lol) and I still have a few in my drawer. They are for times of need. Not an every day thing.

At the moment I am obsessive over plane travel. Need something to take the edge off. So Valium or Xanax would be perfect.

Unfortunately .... The only place I can get them is from the internet.

Prescription drugs (oxyconton mainly) blew up in my city the year I was graduating high school, so needless to say I know a number people who have lost their lives to them. The only thing stopping them from being full blown heroin addicts is that they are 10x easier to get than heroin.

Personally, I've never tried oxys, only percocets, and I didn't like them. My drug of choice has always been coke and other uppers/stimulants. That being said, I've always been able to keep myself in check. Strong willpower I guess.

Some one gave me a pack of Zydol (Tramadol) the other to help with my fucked up shoulder, the docs wont perscribe me them cos they know I have had a history of recreational drug use. I can see why something like these would require a perscription, cos I could get high as fuck off these, but because I actually want to use them for pain relief, ima make this pack last a couple of months.

I'd really like to take Diazepam again, i've only ever took it once, but I have never felt more human in my entire life. Life felt like it should feel, but whats odd is the feeling I got was of what I define as feeling normal. Which sucks cos if thats how I believe feeling normal should be, the "normal" i live now must really suck.

I'm not associated here with people who can get prescription drugs so I feel like it's hard to acquire. But then again, I've never asked other dealers what other stuff they can get.

I would not fuck with Oxycontin.

As far as percocet and vicodin goes, I've had both. The problem was finding that right balance between taking enough to get high but not too much to throw up. The pills make you nauseated hence why doctors usually prescribe another drug to help with nausea when you're taking vics and percs.

I have taken these a few times (100) over the last 10 years. About 50 on prescription. About 50 off the net.

I don't take them too often, as you need more to get the effects. I usually take 10mg or 20mg.

After I had a major op in 2006, I suffered from stress. So I took them for a month to take the edge off. They were prescribed though.

I like them. I use them if I have stress and can't sleep. Or if I need to get on a plane.

Got 20 more coming, from a friend, next week. As I have a hard 10 days coming up.

Its like, it didnt up my happiness, it just made all the shit disappear, like my life was absolutely perfect. What sucks is I wish my life was like that, and I don't want to take them regulary. I had a big problem with recreational drug use a few years back, E really screwed a few things up in my head, and it still has a negative effect on my life now, so I REALLY wanna stay away from being a regular user of any drug other than weed.

Alcohol has it's place. I don't use prescription drugs to make a night out. Just to control aspects of my life.

I have a couple of friends who are heroin addicts. I know how easy it is to fuck your life up.

i never abused prescription drugs. only use them when prescribed. i'm sure if i wanted to get some i could find some. but i'm not interested. weed is the only thing i do. i tried salvia, but it didn't really do anything. i haven't touched e in almost 6 years now. i'm even trying to regulate my weed consumption because i become dependent quite easily. i would never touch heroin or cocaine. that shit would scar me for life.

as long as people know what they get into and have the willpower to keep it under control. the thing is, a lot of people believe they can keep it under control and are suffering from major denial...
