I am now paying over $100 a week for petrol, even though I only do 250 miles. This is too extreme.

I was about to buy a decent new car. Loads flying around in my head.

But now I'm considering cutting all the money out I spend on cars. I get fucked on tax, insurance, servicing and majorly on petrol.

The car I'm thinking of getting next, and I'm gutted about it, is a Golf GT TDi.

good idea, because the thing is it won't get better. The prices are rising, always been like that and it won't stop.

Ahh and u guys are worried about that. I drive 2500 miles a month in the vette. 1000 flat payment, 3k for insurance for 6 month policy payment and 500 for gas. Quit whining and when u see a gas station price that u think is high, just have a feeling that another idiot is spending more than u. :p

whoever told you that, either lies or doesn't know what he talks about.

I spoke to a mechanic at VW. He said the GT TDI does 500 miles on a full tank. Although that is £50 of diesel.

Anyways. After 200 miles off £50. (Roughly $90). I am only too happy to get better fuel economy.

Well that's what I'm after. A Golf GT TDI. With a re-map it can do 0-100 in 10 seconds. Decent performance, especially from a Diesel. Gonna have to sit it on 18's too. It will enable me to save money for my 911.

about 5 years ago on the news they said petrol had 50 years of supply in liquid form. its probably like 30 years now, because we are using more than was predicted. i cant believe how much humans fuck up the earth, it is really sad for all the other inhabitants (animals, plant life) that easily survived here sustainably. :(
