Seriously, sometimes it seems like some people are nuts about TB. They're here every minute of the day. I didn't want to mention names, but when I think of a fanatic poster, I think of Calcuo.

The dude is such a mad poster that his post count is at alarming levels. His average posts number a day is at 22. That is extremely high compared to most users having less than three posts a day. I am refering to users that post a lot. I am on TupacBoard every day, and I have a posting time of about two hours, and I still don't have a fraction of his post count.

Before you comment on these figures, you should know how vBulletin (the most popular messageboard out there) works. It does not count literally ever post you make daily. It will tell you your average.

I am not going to belittle anyone, but please know when you're spending too much time on a messageboard. I always ask myself if there's a need to reply to a thread, and I try to make sure all my comments are expressed in one post, not thousands of posts in one thread. I admit there was one time I used to try to raise my post count for the sake of the post count, but that was at a different board a long time ago.

Post names of people you think should take a break from TupacBoard.
 
I'm somewhere in there. Im at like 11-12 post Average. That's because at one point where I was unemployed, so my days were longer than expected. So it added up in the past. With my bro posting with his 'Anton' under my name at times doesn't help.

I go to bed very late usually, so that's why I'm here posting at night. That's why I offered my services at a mod. :mad:

I can't really think of any names, but I agree with what you say about trying to condense all the things you have to say, rather have multiple posts, which take up too much space, in an attempt to boost your post count.

There is nothing wrong with having a high average of posts per day, but it does become a problem when it's just a bunch of free posts. Of course, we've all freeposted before, perhaps inadvertently - but some do it much more often than the rest. Like I've said before, quality comes before quantity and a number isn't very impressive to me.

As for Calcuo, the quality of his posts had really gone downhill, he used to come across as being quite intelligent, not anymore - his posts are getting ridiculous and not to meantion, insulting. It's a shame.

yes, your average post number is very high...but u didnt post as much in the last couple of weeks as u used to do it. why?
 
I agree with PP (PennyPacker) to an extent. THey can do what they want with their time, but when they start making multiple post in the same thread when they could have just had their say and be out. pOSTS LIKE 'LOL' really are unneccesary. but hey, aslong as its not randomn free post shit nad is c0ntributing then that's fine. but most of the time it isn't

just seen the 'fat people' thread and that degenerated from a little joke to CC posting every third post trying to hold a conversation that should be kept over MSN. Sorry CC, but few people mentioned you in this thread and now I know what they mean.

calcuo just posts alot, no big deal, i think everytime i see him reply its long and normally meaningfull.... :thumb: he's cool 2, yeah he posts alot but who really cares? it no fun in picking faults with the dude :thumb: and i aint got a prob with u, incase u take my reply the wrong way
 
who cares, im on here a shit load and i post a shit load becuz i have loads of free time(usually im playing music while i draw or im downloading shit).

also in what way does Calcuos message count effect u, is it becuz the shit he posts are usually construcive or funny and people seem to like the dude(unlike some people,no names), whats up with these wanna be intellectuals on this board.

Calcuo usually only post silly shit in Thugz Mansion.
If u want to talk about science :o or some shit, make a thread about it in Words Of Wisdom or go to another message board.

anyway, post counts dont mean shit, who cares, why would a guy that thinks people spend to much time on a forum research another members account. :rolleyes:

wtf, why are you singling me out?! The reason I said it was a shame he doesnt post like he used to was because he gave great insights to a lot of things and he was commended a lot for that. I never meant it as an insult, but rather as a tribute to what he has brought. I have a lot of respect for him, but his freeposting does effect me, because i have i have a duty to moderate my forums and his behaviour in them recently has been unappropriate. I dont give a fuck about what he says in thugz or elsewhere. So dont you even dare attempt to insult me.
