Technology pc turns on from mouse click

my coleague at work asked me what is it that his pc turns on just by doing a doubleclick on his mouse. i'm pretty sure that there's something with settings, but does someone know exactly what does he have to do to turn it off. what kind of setting are there? i know he doesn't have any smart program installed.

maybe he puts it on standby? sorry i aint 2 clued up but when i reboot the my pc it can be turned on by the touch of a keyboard button, never tried mouse....

check the bios for different wakeup options, or maybe its just on standby like he said^
