Technology PC problem! No sound!

I was using my pc yesterday when all of a sudden the sound went dead! Its only about 3 months old.. I scanned for virus's to see if maybe that was the prob but nothing.. I even went and bought another pair of speakers but they dont work either.. I havent installed a different sound card or anything at all like that... anyone know wtf happened to my pc????

Did you try to restart it and run it in safe mode or anything?

i did it! i did it! it works!! i went to the hewlett packard faq and put in sound help, and it told me to do a reboot sound recovery thing.. it worked! im happy as shit!

your missing your audio drivers most likely... if not that check if all of your speakers are plugged in

sometimes that shit happens, my comp, all the sudden teh speakers stop working n shit, and EVERYTIME, i just have to restart it and it works fine.

Gay ass problem, but it is what it is.
