Technology PC Game problem

well the NFL season is getting closer, and with the impending release of Madden 07, i've been going back and playing my Madden 06 a lot. but recently i started having a strange problem. i'll start the game and it will load up fine, i get the EA Sports logo and the clip of a player or whoever saying its in the game, and then i get the loading screen. but then the game closes automatically. so i figured maybe i'll reinstall it and that might fix the problem. but when i tried to reinstall it i get this message: A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'E:\keyblo.exe' from the media. do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation? so i retry, same thing. retry, same thing. so now not only can i not play the game, i can't even install it anymore anyone have any ideas of whats wrong and how i can fix it?

Try downloading a patch from their site. That's more than likely the problem.

well i checked out their site when i first started having this problem, but any patches that were available, i already had them. i've been playing this game on a regular or semi regular basis since i got it last year and have never had any problems with it, so i think it's more of a problem with my computer than the game itself.

i also tried my Tiger Woods 06 game, and had the same problem as well. maybe it is an EA thing, but i still think my computer is more likely the problem

ok it worked, although i screwed something up at first (lol yes i am a moron) but my games are working again. thanks Meyer :thumb:
