Technology Paying for WinRAR?

I've had winrar for 40 days and my free trial is up.. but it still lets me use it! Can I just keep using and not pay the 30-40 bucks they want? Did you/do you guys pay for it?

i have a cracked version, but i think it just removes the nag. if you dont pay, you get that screen everytime. thats about it.
