most parents jus try to do whats best for thier kids, they may be harsh on the kids sometimes, but they do it for their kids sake. Don't get me wrong i've argued with my parents from time-to-time but you've got to appreciate that without your parents you would'nt fukin exsist. Now Thank God for that

exactly.My dad is quite old fashioned, but you can tell that he used to be worse than me when he was my age.I've seen his pics back in uni, and heard alot about him.But, he knows that I'm a teenager and knows my needs and he's always there to fulfil them which I appreciate very much.Plus, he taught me everything I know, and I'm turning slowly into him, which drives me crazy sometime, as I'm the real laid back type of person who trusts everyone and he's like the total opposite.Glockmatic said:

I haven't lived with my parents for 3 years now, I've kinda been on my own. I live with my grandparents now, but they don't mind me doing whatever I want.. besides, I'm 20 years old now, been working full time for 3 years, they know that I'm smart and responsible. I'm sure when we all get a bit older, you'll appreciate your parents more and understand why they do the things they do as you're growing up. Cause I'm like you guys, didn't agree with everything my parents said or tried to make me do as I was growing up in high school and such.. but now.. I know they were right

I remember living with my parents back in my highschool days. Damn they swore an oath to the old ways. Couldn't explain to them that beating your kid with a board that had holes drilled in it was no longer legal.
man. right now im lock down and shit cuz my average was 63% for the semester man they tripped HARD. the juk my TV from my room. they want to see an 80% average for this semseter but im like maaaan....be serious
