Died 8 years ago today.

As I'm sure I've mentioned before, he was my second favourite wrestler of all time. A great in-ring competitor, and a class act outside the ring.

Jeff Jarrett's wife died today as well. Jeff must be a wreck, he was very close to Owen.

RIP to one of the greats. always liked Bret better, but i believed Owen was the better wrestler. Bret Vs. Owen at WM 10 is still my all time favorite Owen match.

too bad to hear about Jeff Jarrett's wife, what did she die of? was she sick? i haven't been following any wrestling news for a long time now, so this is rather shocking to me.

shes been bataling cancer for a few years now. yeh i remember when mum told me owen hart died, i was shattered.

you wonder what life would have been like for Owen if he was still alive. would he have been in the WWE or would he have left and joined up with TNA.

i think if Owen would have been around. i could have seen him as Heavyweight champ at least 5 times. he would be on RAW feuding with HBK, HHH, and Orton. they would have put Owen and Cena as tag champions

Supposedly Hart would have become "The Game" instead of Triple H, so title runs would have probably followed.
