Please spread the word far and wide ASAP! We are attempting to gather 500,000 signatures by Friday, October 14th. This task can and must be done to put pressure on George Bush, FEMA, and the US Government for their human rights abuses in the wake of the disaster that was Hurricane Katrina.

Let's make George Bush and the US government accountable for their racist mistreatment of New Afrikan and other oppressed peoples in the Gulf Coast states affected by Hurricane Katrina.

you really think that because a bunch of rappers who most likely dropped out of high school, no college experience, and have no idea that the govt is seperated at the local, state, and federal levels, that i should listen much less care what they say. not to mention i bet some of the those organizations are most likely far left winged groups.

there was nothing racist about what happend. a hurricane does not know racism. you are spreading racism buy posting shit like this. new orleans was not the only place affected by the storm dumbass. redknecks lost everything the owned too.

there is an ivestigation going on into what went wrong. in case you didnt know L.A. is one of the most corrupt states in the country. i didnt see anything about wanting to look into the wasteful spending of the levee board of new orleans.

That has always been my stance on this issue. Yes, Bush and FEMA fucked up. But why is nobody blaming the mayor of New Orleans for organizing an evacuation before the storm hit? Or for not being prepared in the wake of the disaster? They just stood around and cried about the government not helping them. Well what are they doing? And like Puffnscruff said, what about the money that was supposed to go to fixing the levees? Where did that go? People just love to blame Bush for everything. And it's not just black people suffering down there, so stop trying to make it a race issue
