...and there is this guy called Alain Robert, a well known freeclimber. This guy is climbing up the biggest buildings in the world. Without any help, only his body. And then i see hes got a family with three kids...wtf???

Is this guy irresponsible?

there was also a crazy guy like that in the 007 movie (the most recent one). bond was chasing that guy through out parts of africa (when the movie started out)...pretty crazy action scene if u remember...it was one of the first main scenes

It's an exploit. It's a big bright advertisement that causes car accidents.

By official accounts, the Empire State Building was built in little over a year. Out of the five people that died during the construction, 2 died from falling. This guy's been climbing for 30 years.

He makes a living doing it, I'm sure. If I'm walking out of the ISD, and I see people looking up, I'm going to use the north side exit.

lol.

I hear what you're saying though, but i still agree with Sebastian and Chronic. The dude is being pretty irresponsible putting his own life at stake like that for something so meaningless as climbing, when he has a family to care about and look after. Even though he probably knows what he's doing and haven't had an accident in 30 years, it doesn't rule out the fact that free climbing is an extremely dangerous sport that puts you in hazard. Honestly, in my opinion, the fear of leaving your family behind and the desire to watch your family grow should overcome any sort of irrational desire for speed and danger. Even if it's their primary source of income, there are many ways to make a good living without risking your neck in the process.

His woman even said he doesnt want him to stop (not that he could stop doing it anyway) because then he wouldnt be the same person anymore...ooookaaaaay
