CORAL GABLES--Reports of an explosion at a University Of Miami dorm forced the evacuation of about 300 students this morning.
As it turned out there was no explosion, but a suspicious white powder was found.
Coral Gables fire rescue and Miami-Dade hazmat are still investigating to determine what the powder really is. They say it is likely just a cleaning agent.
The students have since been allowed back inside
aight, here's the deal...everyone's got it twisted. i was tossing a bottle of comet surface cleaner to my mate down the hall and it hit the ceiling and then when it hit the ground, the powder got everywhere cause i guess the cap was loose. then it triggered the fire alarms.
this morning, i noticed mad (over 20) university police, miami police and detectives started to interrogate kids about what happened. then, i heard them say my name on a walkie-talkie (i heard as i was looking through my peep-hole) well, i fucking got out of there and ran to my friend's house off campus.
the feds are on my trail! can you believe this? and all of my stuff (suitcases and shit) is all packed and ready to go in my room cause i'm going back to new york on saturday. i'm afraid to go back to my room cause i think there will be people there waiting to question/accuse me of shit.
i have to get my stuff tonite, so, if i don't post for awhile it's cause i got locked up or something. i really can't see why i would get in trouble for this, but i don't want to risk it. i singled-handedly managed to piss off 500 kids, firemen, policemen, campus workers, etc., and get the news media to get involved, all cause i decided to chuck the bottle of comet instead of walk it down to my friend. i'll keep you updated as to what happens. :\
