Nintendo is quashing the internet rumor-mill that's been swirling around their next-gen system. for the past couple weeks. Here's the official word: According to Nintendo There will be a major Nintendo ANNOUNCMENT in September. Not the release of the thing.

Pre-orders are being taken now by EB games, Target, Amazon.com and other major retailers.

If you want one, better pre-order, while the pre-orderin's good.

^^I haven't pre-ordered mine yet, but the Wii is sure to be no less than $250. But as soon as you go and get yours at say? EB Games they add bundles to theirs, so I'd stick with Target or Best Buy or Amazon.com who don't try and pull that shit.

You can get a Classic Controller, which plug into the Wii Remote to let you play GameCube/N64 games.



I wouldn't worry too much about the Wii Remote, most people who've used it seem to find it pretty intuitive and easy to operate. It'll just take a little getting used to.
