I have to go to the day surgery unit today, so I'm off work. But because I have to have anaesthetic I cannot eat or drink. Damn I'm hungry and I have 3 hours to go.

Never mind when it's over it's over. And I fucking hate hospitals. That will teach me to go to the doctor when I notice something wrong, I should have just continued in ignorence.

This is my "look at me thread", yes. But it's nothing major, just a little procedure allegedly. I shall be back in 6 hours. Just a test.

Thing is I've just come through a period of illness and got my appetite back with a vengence. So now I'm trying to put the weight back on and I'm major hungry, but now I can't eat. Or drink. :fury:

I've had a colonoscopy a few times. When I was a kid they knocked me out. I had 1 about a year ago, they gave me morphine and valium. To be honest I enjoyed it. I was high, or should I say low, after the examination for about an hour.

And yes. Why can't they do mornings.

Don't worry about it man, I wish you all the luck and you're in good hands when dealing with modern medicine. Just make sure you don't eat anything and any questionnaire they ask you, make sure you put down the proper information and if you have no idea what the answer is let the Doctor or assistant know about it. Keep us updated, and all the health to you.

i went to the hospital at 9.30 this morning and never got away till 2.30.it was one of the most boring days ive had for ages.ive got to go the fracture clinic tomorow now aswell

I'm back. It weren't all bad. Bit of a problem with the canular (sp?), blood squirting all over my hand. Damn I hate needles. But now I'm fine. Only a little pain. And I'm cooking up some food.
