Kanye West, Nas, Rakim and KRS-One will attend an invitation-only event in New York this weekend to celebrate the 25th birthday of Nike’s Air Force 1 sneaker.
During the affair, the rappers will perform a new Rick Rubin-produced ode to the classic footwear. Rubin’s previous production experience in the shoe arena was 1986’s "My Adidas" for Run DMC.
Guests expected to attend include Dave Chappelle, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Rihanna, Queen Latifah, Spike Lee, Moses Malone, Usher, Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J and others.
