I don't particularly like the way the mockups look, to be honest. There are other touchscreen PMPs and they've all been criticised for it. Could work, Apple are probably the guys to do it and do it well.

There might be an announcement on Tuesday. We'll see.
It's about time Jobs came out with an Apple PMP. I've been carefully paying attention to the PMP market ever since I deided to wait for an Apple PMP instead of buying an mp3 player.

There have been rumors of Apple offering full movie donwloads on iTunes so it makes a lot of sense to have a PMP (who wants to watch a movie on those tiny video iPod screens? not me)

I wont be usefull for me since I use my ipod only at the gym. Most of the time I just don't have the time to listen, but thye good thing is if I want to buy an ipod the older ones will fit perfect for me and will be cheaper.
