'Never Die Alone' for the first time...

Yesterday, I watched 'Never Die Alone' (starring DMX, David Arquette) for the first time in my life. I must say that my impressions are really mixed. Someone told me that this is his worst movie ever. I think that DMX acting is solid, sometimes great, but he could do his job here much, much better. He looks somehow uninspired to me. Maybe his role regards this. I don't know. The whole story is different, so introspective, but some parts looks like little rotten to me. Btw, I think that a narrative part of this movie is the best part.
DMX is also a producer of this movie and his son made an appearance. I think that this movie is somehow sleeped on regarding his other projects. Is this effect of quality or is it something else? What do y'all think about this movie?

'Exit Wounds' is a classic indeed. I watched it several times and I'm thinking about buying the DVD.

'Never Die Alone' for the first time...

the book by donald goines is much better than this crappy ass movie. i hated the movie, but maybe thats because i love the book.

i just seen this movie for the first time yesterday.
wtf?

i'm not familiar with the novel from donald goines that it was based on...but it was a decent movie besides a few things didnt like and obviously few things like X's actin etc but. the fuckin thing is like a half a movie. I couldnt believe it when the credits started rollin. there was so many ways the shit could go from there it was just getin good

is it just me?

Never Die Alone

the book is better. the book is actually one of my favorites. goines wrote his books based on events and things he went through in his life, so they were fiction with little pieces of non fiction in them. i have always wondered which part of this story was the non fiction, other than donald was a struggling writer in living in a poor neighborhood in the city like the character played by David Arquette

the movie was a let down for me

Never Die Alone
