need urgent help!

i use a B1 condenser studio project mic...and a 4 channel phonic mixer...for some fucked up reason my mic has conked out on me

like ill unplug it, then put it back in,it will record for like 2 seconds...then..fuck up

ill scream into it...and when i play ti back it sounds like little whispers

is this my mic or my mixer thats fucked?

Id say pre amp if its fucking with the levels.

Plug the mic directly into your recording source and try it like that, so instead of mic > preamp > mixer > computer try other arrangments removing one item each time until you work out what it is.

That mic sucks dick btw, so if its died on you, time to get something better anyway.
