need some advice...should i attend this wedding?

hi all okaayy...so where i do volunteer work for the past 3 years theres this girl i talk to whos getting married at the end of this month...she has close friends who she already invited months ago and although she and i know each other for these 3 years she didnt invite me...so yesterday she comes up to me and tells me that some of relatives didnt rsvp in time and now theres couple of available seats and asked if i wanted to come to her wedding...i dunno...one side of me feels this is not etiqueete cause what am i...you didnt invite me in the first place and now since other peple cant come im invited, so im just a standby???? but then again i thought it was nice of her to ask (and her man is *HOT*!!)...what should i do since she needs a response on monday??? thnz for the input

i wouldnt go if i was you cuz you werent invited in first place. if she really would have wanted you there she would have invited you. now she only is trying to fill up holes.

I would go. Weddings are damn expensive, you cant invite everyone - it's probably not like she deliberately excluded you in the first place. Apparently family members were first priority. If it were my friend, I would love to share that wonderful day with her not get caught up in bitchy little details!!

Dammit. I read your question, thought of some great advice and while I was reading the replies I come to Amara's post. Exactly what I was thinking. Just be happy you were the next person she was thinking of It'd be difficult knowing you cant invite a close friend because you already have too many people.
