The Sig GSR looks promising, but i've gotten contradictory reports on it. Some say the trigger is gritty & heavy, others say it's smooth. There are probably kinks that Sig will work out over time, though.

The frame & slide are made by Caspian, and the GSR barrel is made by the same company that makes Evolution Gunwork's barrels, and is made to EGW's specification. EGW also makes some of the component pieces on the GSR.

Yeah I heard that aswell the trigger is suposed to be heavy for LEO use. Caspian frames and slides are great, when I build my 1911 I'll prolly use that or RRA.
