Technology MP3 Renamer

All I would like to do is make an ID3 tag out of an MP3's filename, and perhaps edit batches of fields (like rename the Genre of 100+ files).

If anyone could point me in the direction of something easy, free and reliable I'd greatly appreciate it - I have downloaded about thirty and none of them can do the fucking job right and Im close to putting my fist through the monitor.
