Moving To MTL This Friday!

hey all

figured i would drop a quick thread cause me and my bro are moving to mtl this friday, (we're going into hiding from assassain) just wondered how many people from montreal are on here and if they have any advice (lord knows i've had enough people try and tell me when not to speak french).

we'll be moving hopefull around the Latin quarter. my sister helped us find some place for around $500 a month, i believe its pretty small though.

anyways so any advice about montreal? probably won't have net up for a few months at least, i hear you can sign up for free internet if you register at an internet cafe.... anyone know if theres truth to this?

i'm hoping to get up to 4000 posts before i go.

oh shit one more thing, anyone know anything about the hiphop scene? i've heard mtl has a dope breakdance circuit if you seek it out.

Welcome home Brother, Montreal is a great city, but you better learn some french cause if not, you'll be in trouble, especially in the Quartier Latin, theres a lot of quebecers that dont speak english
