It was when the board was back up after it went down, so you better believe all of us nerds (all 611 of us) were continually pressing refresh on the home page for days, until the board came back up.

No, you sitting here and pressing refresh a million times would only count as ONE user. Its not based on hits, its based on users logged in. So no, thats not the reason at all.

And yes its real, and no I dont remember why it happened, but I was online at the time or near it and there was a shit load of people on.
