Technology Modded Xbox help....

i got my xbox modded, softmodded to be exact, and i know that i cant play online, or atleast not with xbox live... os someone tells me about xbox connect which allows them to play online with a modded xbox wih no problems... the thing is, i dunno how to connect my xbox to whatevr it is i need to connect it to.... i know i need an ethernet cable, but what next???

probly your only option, and its difficult to configure unless you got a very good knowledge of the networking of games;

Im guessing you will need to connect with your router or pc with an ethernet cable.

If you are plugging into a router then an ethernet cable should be fine. I personally share my internet connection with my xbox, plugging an ethernet cable from the back of my pc to the xbox and enabling the shared connection, if you do it this way you must be sure the ethernet cable is a crossover cable.

hmm, well, i guess my main question is can i play on Live with a softmod? is there a way for me to play my legit halo 2 online even though my box is modded?? or is it possible to transfer the files to my comp and just transfer them across each other when i need to play online? maybe using that crossover cable??

have you tried to use live? if not you'll have to use xlink or that one you mentioned if your first post.

XBox 360 or Xbox?

Xbox can play on Live modded... Recently Microsoft are banning Modded 360's..... But there is a possibility to stop them before they are banned. After they are banned, no way as yet.....

You could also play wirelessly... With a gaming adaptor. You plug the ethernet cable into it, and it links with your wireless access point. Or if it's 360, you could buy the wireless adaptor.
