you have no argument with me about jeter is underperforming this year. if you make another attempt to come back and argue with me you only gonna hurt yourself. i suggest you leave it here and go for 0 for 1.

You know the Yankees are in 3rd place when they start bitchin at each other instead of Sox fans :p it's nice to see

either he doesnt get my point (making him socially inadequete) or he doesnt want to see it (making him a stubburn douche), it goes deeper than him being a yankees fan

lets hope RJs 62 year old arm gets some rest during the all-star break :thumb:

until i see Jeter raising up to .315 hes still under-achieving
thats stubburn! that you dont wanna accept that .308 is still very good average to have good season regardless of what hes career average is.

ok. first you said jeter was underperforming this year just because he was below hes career average by 7 points.

i go to tell you season isnt over to judge his stats yet.

then you doubt and questioned my yankee fan base by askin me how many games i've watched which would determine according to you how cold and hot jeter has been this year. in return you made yourself look like no yankee fan because jeter has not been into any big slumps this year so far. so, that disproved your point. and if he did go into slump that still woudnt measure his season stats because every player goes in slumps at some point and then they get out.

then you close your argument with your stubburn statement saying 'until i see Jeter raising up to .315 hes still under-achieving' which is foolish and not true.

so theres was no back up information to your jeter underperforming statement.

good day.

sure, .308 is a good average, but not when your career standard is .315

how the hell is it any more complicated than that? Jeter should be doing alot better if he wants to be an all-star. im not even going to bother reading your essay of a response, waste of my time

Coming in todays game Derek Jeter is batting .310

He is 2 for 2 so far so he goes up to .314 ((((((((((((( ))))))))))))

He is right on his career average at that point.

so according to bankrabber, Jeter is not underperforming at this point because hes average is right on his career average .314 since he only considers good all star season for Jeter if hes average is at career average or higher.

EDIT:

Update... he just grounded out so he now 2 for 3 (((((((((((( ))))))))))))

so hes average dropes one point at .313

so now hes back to his 'underperfoming' wagon.

lets wait and see what he does on his next at bat, hopefully he gets a hit and raises up to .314 again and we be all happy again. but wait, we still got over a month baseball to play.. so Jeter gonna be jumpin on his 'all star' to 'underperforming' wagon back and forth every game.

you waited a month and a half to use that? how lame, you really need to find something to do with your spare time rather than holding a month and a half long grudge

why did you avoid the sports forum when jeter dipped below .300 a few weeks ago?

Well, i knew you had said before what you said which was that hes season would be looked as underperformer if hes average is below .314. so today i was watching the game and saw Jeter hit .314 average and my eyes just lighted up with the smile thinking i gotta give this news to the people in tupacboard specially you that Jeter is now officially an all star. but then again he grounded out and my i was stunned.

What sports forum? what below .300 average?

Seriously, are you really that retarted not to realize you cant judge a players whole season just by one half of the season or just one little slump he goes in?

so what he dropped below .300 did the season finished there? no. what is he batting now? around .312 the next day he might be at .315 and after that again back to .312 and then .315 again and again and again... so should we start thinkin Jeter is an all star when hes at .314 and should we start saying hes underperfoming when hes at below that? no. give the man the whole season and let me finish the season and then rate hes season.

Not to mention you only judging his season by average he has. not other stats you looking at.

okay, lets judge his other stats

RBI - below average, but thats expected when the guys infront of him suck this year compared to the past
Stolen Bases - below average, more Torre's fault for relying on power
Batting with RISP - utterly horrible. Is he over .200 yet? totally inexcusable to be hitting below .200 with runners in scoring position
Defense - one of the worst years of jeters career defensively, he had this many errors ALL of last year. not a good sign

i hate to have to ply you off of Jeters nutsack, but he's still not having a Jeter-esqe season.
