I saw it when I went to see King Kong. (Which was ok, only)

At first, when I first heard about heard about Miami Vice being turned into a movie, I was disturbed, because I kept thinking about the 80s and how they'd wear dress shoes with no socks and alot of cheesiness.

Then I noticed Micheal Mann (Director of Collateral & Heat) was working on it. My idea about it changed, then I saw the teaser, and it reminds me alot of Collateral (which I loved, because it was dark and looked genuine).

I for one, can't wait for this to come out.

i had the same thoughts as you when i read about it a few days ago. i didnt bother to even watch the trailer or even see who was going to be in it. but after watching that i think it could be pretty dope. colin farrel and jamie foxx will be tight together. two of my favorite actors out there right now.

Collin Farrel is cool.

Im actually suprised that such a corny series could be made into such a cool looking movie. Let's hope it's better than Farrel's other remake, SWAT, although that wasnt that bad.

This reminds me of a cross between Bad Boys 2 and Collateral.

Good comparaison with Bad Boy 2, the only thing is, will Collin Farrel and Jamie Foxx have the same chemistry that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence did, because if you think about it. That's one of the reasons why the Bad Boys (1&2) was great.

badboys 2 was not only action but it was half comedy


but miami vice looks to be str8 serious.. i dont see them using foxx for comedy relief... micheal manns be real as fuck

i personally think they shouldve worn cooler suits. they shoulda brought the whole pastel look back. their wearing normal clothes and shit...that aint miami vice!!

i was watching miami vice on tv land the other night...it was pretty coo when i was younger, my dad always watched it...was watching the first episode when there going after the bad guy at the end and phil collins "i can feel it in the air" comes on...that was classic

Yea they rerun the show on TvLand now...it really was a dope show..it was one of the first shows to have a soundtrack to it..

I still think they couldve brought back the whole pastel suit look back in style just a little modernized if they included that look in the movie. Just like people were rocking irridescent button down shirts after brad pitt in Oceans 11.

That trailer was ok. The only thing that made it cool was the music. I'm sure it'll be a cool movie tho.
