Method Man joins cast of 300 spoof movie

Method Man has joined the cast of Hunting and Fishing, a spoof of the hit movie 300.

The movie is being produced by writing duo Jason Friedberg and Alan Seltzer, who have penned such spoofs as Date Movie, Epic Movie and Remembering the Titans On Any Given Sunday Gives Me The Varsity Blues.

Hunting and Fishing also stars , Diedrich Bader, Kevin Sorbo and Tim Connolly. The movie recently started shooting in Louisiana.

Method Man will play the role of "Persian Emissary" and interestingly, there is also a character called K-Fed who previously played "Kevin Federline Look-A-Like" in Date Movie.

I honestly didn't see a 300 spoof coming, but I guess it was pretty obvious. It's good to see Meth back in front of the camera, but where the hell is How High 2?

spoof movies are getting pretty shitty nowadays... there are the classics (spaceballs, robin hood men in tights, scary movie 1 & 2, not another teen movie, etc.) and then there are the bad ones (date movie, epic movie, scary movie 3 & 4, etc.)

hopefully this lands opposite of the ladder...
