My bottom two wisdom teeth are nearly all the way in but my top two haven't even broken the surface yet and I'm almost 26. Every few months my bottom ones come in a little more and they hurt like all fuck for about a week.

But the dentist isn't anyone to fear. I don't get the cause of all the anxiety, as with modern dentistry techniques the patient can opt for conscious sedation or general anesthesia.

I like going to the dentist. I had a root canal some years ago and I rather enjoyed it. I can't even begin to explain to you the thrill I felt during the anesthetic injection. Then I slept.
To my great dismay I haven't returned to the dentist's office in a while. Who doesn't like to be knocked unconscious? Maybe it's just me, though.

I had a root canal years ago also. The doc gave me numerous shots to numb everything and i didn't feel the drilling at all. He went to pull the nerve and I started to have a seizure, not really but it hurt soooo so so so much. He goes "oops you're not supposed to feel that." Gave me another shot tapped the root and I can still feel it, the tap hurt like fuck too. Gave me a couple more, I think 8 in total, roof of the mouth was the worst. He put some like surface numbing shit on it cus he said giving me another shot of novacaine would be dangerous and so I slightly felt my root getting pulled out. Most painful thing ever. Then I was numb on about 3/4 of my face for what seemed like all day cus of so many shots. Going to the dentist sucks, but it's worth it.
