I got her today, isn't she beautiful. This one cost me $650 and it's just orgasmic to play it.

Anyway to make this thread at least half useful, Do you have any instruements. If so post pictures of you and your instrument (Remember that as tempting as it may sound to post a nude picture of yourself, it is against forum guidelines :D)

lol, your girl is cute, you seem to love her very much :D

but talking seriously, I have a guitar and it looks exactly the same as that (are you lefthanded too?). And is it a fender, by any chance?
fenders make great electrics, i have never played an acousitic fender. And fenders are DAMN EXPENSIVE. My next one will be a fender (i'm planning on buying an electric next time, and i want a kurt cobain designed jagstang (a cross between a fender jaguar and a fender mustang)

and nope i'm not a lefty. Though i used to play guitar on my left when i first started. Then i realised it was too much hassle (and expensive) for left handed stuff, so i switched to the proper right handed style early on. Now when i pick up a lefty i can't even get a chord right with out vibrating strings.

you must be a very sad person
Trust me dude, right now i probably prefer my guitar over a girl, though i'm chasing. A guitar only makes noise when i want it to. Is always ready to get picked and played. The harder i go, the louder it makes noise. She's only as good of use as the person playing her (so she's damn good:D)

I guess you have to have a guitar and enjoy playing it to realise the bond. It's a very spiritual and emotional relationship. I don't allow ANYBODY to touch her.
I've even named her :D

nice guitar man.

how long have you been playing?

i've been playing for almost 10 years now. i got a crappy electric that came out of the jc penny xmans catalog(my first)
i got a 20 year old ibanez acoustic, takamine acoustic, and a epiphone les paul electric.

the only other intsruments i have are my turntables, a couple of drum machines, and 2 samplers but i dont know if a sampler would really be called an instrument.

oh yea and i have an old casio keyboard too. i took piano lessons before i started the guitar.

i started only aboout a year ago. I needed another way to get rid of my emotions,. I used to have a drum kit back in highschool days (i played drums for a band) but i sold my drumkit to go overseas. I also took piano lessons but it was never my "thing". Last year i realised i needed to take up something... anything. And my mate who plays for a band here said i have perfect hands to play the guitar. So i bought a shitty little flemenco guitar and practiced. I just kept playing and playing. I then borrowed my mates electric and acoustic guitar while he went backpacking, when he got back i couldn't go back to the flemenco guitar so i decided that it was time for a new guitar which is what you see in the pictures.
I'm in love with it. I can't stop playing it. It's 4:11am now, and i'm still going strong

I though it was a fender cuz it's very similar to mine, and btw, I understand you, I love my guitar as much as you love yours :D But you're so lucky you could change to the right handed style, I could never do it.

See i'm naturally right handed, but i played the guitar like left handers for some reason. Then early on i just swapped sides.

Nice guitar dude.
How long did you play drums for and what set did you play?
I'm a drummer myself.. just curious as to what you played in the past
Iplayed drums for a few years. I got behind a kit last year to perform for a band up in sydney because their drummer was sick, and it was good to be behind one again (htough i'm really rusty).I went through a shit load of kits, generally my first ones were 8pce sets and then i just moved up. My school drumkit waws awesome, can't rememebr what it was though.
My last drumkit was very similar to this:

Not exactly this but it was a Tama Superstar.Different colors too.
