the media is partly to blame but in this day and age, music does have alot of influence, why do i wear baggy clothes? becuz rappers on tv wore them and i bought some and it was comfortable, if it had not been for the music that i was listenin to i wouldnt be wearing them, how about the slang i use? i got it from my friends BUT most of there slang came from music, how about those kids that are young and want to find something to be apart of, they listen to music and find the type of people to hang out with that listen to that music, film and music influence people alot, saddam hussien use to watch the godfather everyday,im not saying he did all that shit becuz of the godfather movies but somehow it intrested him, the power and the respect the godfather had, he basically related to him.

also, how many people do u know have a tatto becuz of hip hop,or wear a bandana, or clothes that a baggy, its all becuz there influenced, so what makes u think some dude cant kill after hearing a song.

I dont wear baggie clothes cuz rap stars do, i wear them cuz they are comforable! an i also think they look better! tight clothes look terrible, unless they are on some chick! and what has saddam got to do with the godfather? im intrested in serial killers an read books,watch documentries, about them but that dont mean i want to be one! what you are saying is you think artists can influence young people threw music or films or even books as well then, ok so what do you want to do stop violent music stop violent films and stop murder mystery books?

Yeah I know what you're saying, but clothes, tattoos and slang are harmless. You're just following the fashions. It's not like being a cold blooded killer. That can't be taught. That's why so many war veterans suffer post traumatic stress.

And just for the record, I don't wear baggy clothes or speak the "hip-hop" slang. But I listen to rap all the time.

what im saying is, befor a rapper came on tv, u prolly never wore clothes like that, obviously its comfy BUT u didnt just up and start wearing them, u saw it on tv or the person u saw wearing it saw it on tv and u got it

with the saddmn thing, i ment that the movie inflenced him in some of the shit he did, i not saying he killed thousands becuz of the movie but he liked the morals behind the godfather, eg the respect,the power and he related to it.

tv in this day an age influences alot, where music is concerd it influences alot,(u would be ignorant to say otherwise)look at goths, alot of them go as far as to call wearing nail polish,writing poetry,listening to grunge music and going to them gay ass vampire clubs a culture.

look at the bush kerry election, they said that more youths voted,im sure thats becuz of the celebritys ontv that were telling them who to vote for.

point blank,tv,movies,music influences alot of people, especially young minds, alot of people know how to draw the line between entainment and reality but some people dont(goths,stans,fake hip hoppers)

Ye but if you see something and you like it you want it! thats just fashion, in the very early eighties everyone wore tight ass jeans! when we used to breakdance in 1984 we wore baggie clothes so we could dance! but sure you will see some star on tv wearing something cool an think il have some of that, but if i hear daz dillinger spitting, roll down the window blow out your muthafucan brain and let you know about this west coast game! i aint gonna go an do a drive by.
