ok well, I heard on Saturday that two 19 year old were killed in a car accident on Saturday (they were pedesrtians) a car ran them over and landed on top of one of these girls, this happened about 2 blocks away from my house, i thought that was fucked up, u kno? Then i go to School today, and find out i KNOW the guy who did it, im not really close to him but my friend is, shes so worried because they are charging him with manslaughter. Shes on the verge of tears, he was really close to her family, the teachers that knew him are all getting together to send a letter to the people charging him with manslaughter. He was a really good polite student, and would never in his right mind do something like that, i feel sorry for him as he is only 17 and for my friend as well, but dont u think its what he deserves?? i mean it WAS murder, he WAS speeding he didnt even have a license, and i dont think he was under the influence of anything. I just feel bad that i really have no words to tell my friend so she can feel better, she always comes to me for comfort and now i dont have anything to say, what would be something good to say to someone who is like that???............

(Edit: i dunno if this is the right forum to post this under)

I wouldnt have anything to say to her but you could comfort her with your actions instead of words.

Be there for her, be a person that she can talk to when she needs you, and simply giving her a hug and telling her 'I know its hard now but everything will be ok in time' does help in times like that.
