Am I the only one that just doesnt care? Lupe takes everything I said I didnt like about Nas in the other thread and times it by ten.
Every song is tight as fuck. Well worth the buy. I actually got a 2 CD with it, the second CD has interviews with Lupe talkin about the concept of each song and other things.
I disagree. Lupe has a shitload of talent. He's one of very few who is actually rapping about real shit these days. Having said that, this cd is sub-par - Food and Liquor was better and even that didn't live up to his potential.
It's a concept album. I don't think it's sub-par when so much thought went into it.
I'm sure that your ideas are the basis of Hip Hop's revival.
And coming from a guy that thinks that Lil Wayne is a good rapper, I won't comment on that.

All good, I do think Wayne is a good rapper. I dont like Lupe, or Kanye for that matter. Different tastes.
I doubt Lupe will play any part in a Hip-Hop "revivial," nor do I really think one is needed.
lupe is one artist that deserves any positive credit he gets.
