Lucas only gets co-writing credit for the Indiana Jones movies while Speilberg is the director. Had Lucas not made Star Wars no-one would even give a fuck that he had that co-writing credit.

Speilberg has directed many good movies while Lucas only has a few under his belt.

As such, Speilberg is better.
