OK, Mr. 0 posts.

Now I'm not posting private messages, because I wouldn't do that and maybe this next post is random, but do the math.

"How can you possibly prefer the SSLP era Em to the MMLP era Em?

His lyrics pre-MMLP were about nothing. It was almost as if he just put words together just to rhyme them. Nothing made any fuckin' sense at all and it all sounded like jibberish.

MMLP and TES are just straight up classics. Thought out lyrics, depth to them, he told stories...

There's not even a comparison to the two time periods.

MMLP/TES era>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>SSLP era"

I thought the lable controlled the game ,since when does a rapper control the game! (LOL)

true that. This guys PM sounds like he's trying to say Encore sold a lot because it was a good album. as if. This dude's favorite album is probably Vanilla Ice - 2 The Extreme, lol.

Pittsey I'm with you on this one. Eminem was hungry in SSLP days and would murk anyone in a freestyle or battle. MMLP was good, but he wasn't as hungry anymore. And anything after that, I don't have time for. Listening to "FACK" makes me forget that he actually used to have talent.

Can anyone name a worse Rap record than Fack?

^^

I know Vanilla Ice is sad. But that was a quality track. I was bumping it, and still like it when I hear it now. His flow was sick. And the lyrics and beat was hot too.

What do they call it?? Enunciated flow?

BTW is there anyone who isn't convinced that Bam Margera is jason g?

Innit. I also remember Jason saying he was a fan of "HIM" the metal band, and as everyone knows, all HIM's exposure in the States has been through Bam's show. Therefore its likely that Bam fans are HIM fans and vice versa.

eminem had a sense of humor in the SSLP era

and why do people forget the Infinite era? Em was 100x more deep then than he is now

Infinite was good. But I think it gets overated because of the way it was so slept on. I only truly like 3-4 tracks. I only dislike 3-4 tracks off SSLP. I prefer the early Shady Stuff, the tracks with Rawkus, the freestyles with Sway, SSEP etc.

i love every song on the SSLP, its one of my top 5 albums ever

but I do think Eminem was more meaningful and deep on Infinite than he was on the Eminem Show, not to mention the lyrical side was far better put together

He was definately more lyrical. But not as funny, and the stories didn't seem to flow as well as SSLP.

The only songs I didn't really feel on SSLP, although to be honest I did like them at first, was "My Name is", although that was probably the best track ever to introduce a "new" act. "Guilty Conscience", and "If I had".

I gotta agree with Pitts no this one. Infinite was good, but there were some songs where his rhymes just sound corny as hell (ex.313: "I shower the slang as simple as A, B, C's/Skip over the D's and rock the microphone with ease") But he also drops some nice jewels on the album too (It's OK: "I'm usin' smarter tactics to overcome the slums/I won't become as dumb as some and succumb to scum, it's cumbersome" now that's tight) And to be honest i wasn't feeling Em at all until MMLP dropped. I fuckin hated the guy with a passion. But once i heard that album i went back and checked his past shit, and found out he always had been a dope lyricist, i was just sleeping on him
