I see Cooper is feeling "Nothing Compares 2 U". What you need to do is seek out the original version that Prince wrote for "The Family" which was a group containing Susannah Melvoin on lead vocals, and a guy named St. Paul who was also briefly in The Time. That version rocks.

But then The Family project kinda sank, a few years later that skinhead bitch took the song to number 1, and Prince just said "fuck it i'll sing it myself" and did the live version with Rosie Gaines which was then released on The Hits/The B-Sides.

Yeah the ONA version is good. There's various live versions of it, I'll see if I can find a good version for ya.
