sperm do not die once they hit the air. rather they will die atleast half an hour later if the temerature is not warm and moist. if it is warm and moist, then they can live up to 4 hours

Eric, I looked around and according to what I found, sperm stays alive as long as it is wet, even outside of the body. Once it dries it is no longer active but as long as it is still wet, it is. But like I said, although it is unlikely that what happened will result in her getting pregnant, it is still very possible.

In a word, no. The acidity of a vagina can kill sperm but it swims inside an alkaline fluid so that protects it. Yeast will not kill sperm.
Eric, you're really freakin out dude. The only thing you can do at this point is calm down and wait. I know that's hard to do but there's nothing else you can do right now until she can take a pregnancy test.

I don't know what happen with the girl Big E but if her period finished last night then carmi is right. The girl shouldn't get pregnant but just be careful next time.

I'm not trying to scare him at all. He asked the question. While the possibility is slim to none the girl will get pregnant from this, there is that slim chance and he needs to be aware of it. The last thing he wants I'm sure is for the girl to be pregnant but that's what happens when you're not careful. Only things I'm pointing out is what he asks and telling these children that they need to know the facts when having sex (the getting pregnant on the period thing).
Eric, I'm not at all wanting to scare you. I'm sure you're scared enough on your own. But right now, all you need to do is be calm and wait. The only way you're gonna know for sure is for her to take a pregnancy test and she can't even do that yet so for now you're just playing the waiting game.

While you're information has been helpful and somewhat scary, I know your intention isn't to scare me. I've thought long and hard these past 2 days about what I've done and I've already made a promise to myself to be more careful in the future. Ever since I turned 21 last year my life has changed dramatically due to more drinking than I have done before that time. It has effected the choices I make even when I'm sober. I used to thrive on my self-image because I valued a relationship more than most people and I wouldn't mess with a girl who I wasn't dating or close with. Since drinking, I've messed with way too many girls--some I wanted deeply, some out of self-pity, and most that I totally regret. This last girl I regret. I even regretted before I thought about the whole pregnancy possibility. We have no vibe, I'm not even close to her. I was sexually deprived and needed attention.

As for the situation at hand, when I made this thread it was speaking in terms of the worse-case scenario. I trust that everything is fine...her hand was clean when she first touched herself, and she washed her hands that night before she masturbated. I am however the ultimate pessimist and always assume the worst. I can't help it. I can't sit back and do nothing. It's part of my personality and always has been.

On the other hand, I know 4 young mothers who are my friend and have told me information different than yours and it has all confused me. But one common ground I find in all the input is either not likely, but possible or not possible at all.

Yeah, I have kids myself. As a matter of fact, my last child, my daughter, was conceived using the pull out method lol and it was the day after I had got off my period so I know what I'm talking about there. But most of the info I gave you I got from searching it on the internet so if it's wrong, it's their fault lol But it mostly came from doctors so I don't know, I guess they know what they're talking about. I really don't think you have anything to worry about with this girl but you gotta be more careful. Don't let alcohol rule you. It can impair your judgement and make you do things you wouldn't normally do, as I figure you've already found out. I've been there before and regretted it deeply. You just gotta learn your limits when you're drinking, know when to quit before you get too far gone that you start doing crazy shit. You seem like a decent guy and far too young to get yourself messed up with alcohol.
