THat shit made me understand what Pac felt better than any of the documentaries on him. They are all great , it's just... they don't capture much of what he was living through in raw form. This movie does exactly that. In the end i just felt paranoid about death just as Pac felt and I felt this hopelessness that he keeps bringing up. It shook me a great deal .

Inspiring movie , a must if you're a Pac fan ...

that post is a lil stupid.. sorry dude

How is it stupid ? Its a movie about the ghetto life and Pac rapped about the struggle of people living in the ghetto. Please explain whats so silly about it .

For example , when Caine's cousin gets shot in the head and is left in the street all shaking from his nerv system acting up , it reminded me of when pac said " it's kinda hard to be optimistic when your homie's lying dead on the pavement twisted.."

Im sorry if some of you are too shallow to get it or if i just explained myself wrong.

no wonder why they made that movie, they are charecters like them in here, real life. look at nOx34.

Elaborate please , how am I like a character of this movie ? Doesnt make any sense

the movie was an entertaining piece of life in the ghetto. nothing more nothing less. it didnt make me "think" well maybe when i was 14 and thought it was some intellectual amazing piece of artistic brilliance. but then again i was 14 years old.
In my opinion, boyz n the hood is a far better work. and what the hell does it have to do with 2pac rapping. you could make such a broad connection with any rapper because their all talking about the ghetto which is depicted in the movie.
stupid comparison.

Now I don't live in the US so I don't know what the ghetto is like over there. So I don't relate to the film. I relate more to UK films that are truer to my life. Which is why I like "The Streets" music, even though he may not be as skilled as most rappers.
One of the films I relate to from my growing up is "goodbye Charlie Bright", it has a few similarities to me and my friends.
However to me, and my limited knowledge of US ghettos, Menace seemed pretty 1 dimensional and cliched, I don't believe that it was particually realistic, but I guess when you have a 90 minute film you have to cut the realism down to keep it entertaining.
