When I wake up in the morning lately, my eyes have this weird effect. If I look at something, it seems to be as though my vision is bouncing. Have you ever had at some point had your eyes make a movement in co-ordination with your heart beat? Well it's kind of like that, but for longer periods of time and faster. This also happens if I open my eyelids very wide.

If someone could help figure out what the fuck it is that would be great. thx. :thumb:

If you've been on the computer for a long time, your eyes might just be tired. I know when i'm on the computer at work all day, and then when I leave work and get on the computer at school, by the time it's night time and time for me to go home, my eyes are sooo tired. Like everything will be really blurry and if I don't put on my glasses fast, usually they'll start to jump. Contacts aren't good to wear when your eyes are tired, just a bit of advice, it makes your eyes so uncomfortable.

Possibly this: Nystagmus

But if it continues go to an optometrist

I saw an optomologist a month ago. I apparently have perfect vision. Although this problem didn't exist at that time. Thanks for the info on Nystagmus, I'll read further although I doubt it's something that serious. I had an MRI scan 3 weeks ago and everything was fine.

i sort of have that problem too , its been happening for the past few weeks , except its random eye lid twitches that seem to be causing my vision to go like that , anyone know why the fuck they twitch randomly , at any time ?

Zimbabwe, I had this problem for about 2/3 weeks straight. It wasn't there every minute of the day but it was a recurring twitch. I had three doctors explain to me that there is no medical explanation as to why it happens. Two very common reasons for this is stress and caffiene. When I reduced both, it went away.

Syn, I go through the same thing at work. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this problem. When I'm done with the computer I have a hard time adjusting to objects--it's blurry. One thing that really bugs me is when I look at anything that has lighting like a digital clock. Jesus that looks so blurry. When I return back to a computer at home my vision seems to adjust only to the computer screen well lol. But yeah, if I stay away from the comp for a long enough time, my eyes are fine. Blah :(

Everytime your on a computer for a significant time then after every 5 minutes concentrate your eyes on a distant object. There, that should help your eyes not become strained. Keep focused for a few seconds then look back.
