I swear its getting harder to tell whats real and whats in the storylines these days. It looked real. Especially when Jerry Lawler pushed him. But surely WWE wouldnt write abusive stuff to theirselves. But if it was real why didnt they cut off his mic? Any info?

It was a 'worked shoot'. It wasn't real, but it drew on real life. He was genuinely criticised for not commentating like a WWE commentator is expected to, and he probably agrees with a lot of what he said, but it's all part of a storyline. He's going to be replaced on RAW by J.R., and Joey's going to form part of ECW, which relaunches next month.

Also the work shoot was written by Joey Styles and approved by the creative team. J.R. is coming back full time to his spot.

JR is one of the worst announcers today. As bad as Don "I used to sell baseball cards on QVC" West. He doesn't know most of the wrestlers moves. Also his slurring is irritating me.

JR is a commentating legend!! Raw aint the same without his voice! Plus he gets respect for all the stuff he does behind the scenes.

I Admit JR does get carried away sometimes. but him an the King are the best in the Business. Coach just plain out sucks!!!

Coach trys to hard, he carries on to much as an announcer. you can tell during Monday night hes upset cause Vince is on the headset yelling at him. it bothers him.

Where's he at Anyway? aint seen him in a few weeks. When Tazz jumps to ECW. maybe they'll move Coach to SD with Micheal Cole, let him announce over there.


They should give Todd Grisham a chance on RAW, he handled himself pretty good That monday when Styles quit. He did the main event quite well.

I think if Tazz moves to ECW (the article up on WWE might suggest that he will) then they should replace him with someone different. If Cornette was still around, I would have suggested him, but he's in TNA now. Heyman or Al Snow would have been good choices, but they're both busy with ECW. To be honest, I can't think of anyone within the company that would fit in as a colour guy on SmackDown!

That said, Tazz can't (and won't) wrestle, and Joey was used to doing commentary alone, so maybe he'll just stay on SmackDown. He and Cole work well together.

Xactly. I couldn't tell you tha last time I actually watched a full episode of Smackdown!. I do enjoy watching Melina, tha chick in MNM, whatever they're called. OMGoodness, she is so incredibly gorgeous.

MNM are pretty much the only thing SmackDown! has going for it. They're the only great tag team the WWE has (or has had for quite some time) and Melina is fiiiine. If they move to RAW in the draft (as all SmackDown!'s good characters usually do), SmackDown! is fucked.
