The correct term for soda, pop, fizzy, etc is soft drink. Your preffered slang of of soft drink depends on your region. In America, soda is predominant in major cities, mid-atlantic, southwest, and west. People who say pop are generally from the North. Soda Pop is generally said by older folk.
